Software Development
Involved in software development for over 20 years. Many years of experience with UNIX and over 10 years with Microsoft Windows. Extensive background in client-server architecture with state-of-the-art technical skills. Highlights of my career include 5 years with NCR (retail systems, compilers, Unix kernels, drivers, embedded systems) and 10 years with Symantec (n-tier development of archive software as middleware and UI expert). I have also developed mobile applications (PDA) that mirror PC applications.

I have developed ASP.NET applications for 6 years. Recent work at City of Orlando involved .NET 1.1 to .NET 2.0 apps, use of Ajax, .NET 2.0 to .NET 3.5 ( plus WCF web services), SQL 2005 to Oracle 10g conversions, and analysis/fixes of SQL Injection problems. Currently working with Visual 2010, Expression Blend 4, SQL Server 2008, WCF, WPF.

|
|
Database Development
I have developed with Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Teradata, and other databases over the years. I taught Oracle at Devry University and am certified at the OCA level for Oracle administrators and developers.
